…Laura, that you managed to write a post here during the eventful time of our German-Kenyan workshop and the scholarship stays of Kenyan lecturers in the past 4 weeks!
The rest of us were obviously unable to do so, although (or perhaps because) it was an exciting and inspiring time: First of all, the workshop week at the end of September, in which not only the various project topics were examined from all sides and thus the fruitful multidisciplinarity of the project was well expressed. The various excursions to Eberswalde to the HNEE, to the Brodowin Ecovillage, to the ATB and other Potsdam research institutes, to the HMS Magdeburg and the Fraunhofer Institute there, and, and, and.
An electronic proceedings volume of the workshop lectures will be published at the THB, so that the results will also be accessible to a wider circle of readers. There is now also an overview poster that will be presented at a DAAD workshop in Brussels on Friday.
At the beginning of November, some of the German project participants will fly back to Kenya to ensure the sustainability of the projects and hopefully also lead to further blog posts here 😉
